Typical of the tagine is the cone-shaped lid. It ensures that you only need to use a little water during preparation. The water vapor that forms in the tagine collects on the inner wall of the lid. This way the moisture is retained and the result is deliciously tender meat or fish and deliciously juicy vegetables. The cast iron guarantees gradual and even heating, so that vegetable, meat and fish dishes as well as poultry are cooked slowly. The tagine is suitable for use in the oven, microwave and on gas, induction, ceramic and electric hobs. Maintenance: do not put the tagine in the dishwasher. Dry thoroughly immediately.
